Guided Multi-Day Kayak Trips in Desolation Sound
Leave behind the hustle and bustle of everyday life, let your body, mind and spirit unwind, relax and rejuvenate as you reconnect with the natural world, yourself and those you are with! Terracentric offers every level of support for your overnight kayaking trip. From planning and guiding the entire trip for you, to just picking up or dropping off you and your kayaks off a pre-determined remote destination, and everything in between, our goal is to get you out there enjoying our beautiful marine world!
Our all inclusive multiday trips are led by experienced local guides who love this area, intimately know its natural and human history and of course have a gift for hosting people in the outdoors!
Our trips include delicious meals and snacks, tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags (should you not have your own), a full kitchen, kayaks, and of course your guide as well as the required parks fees and permits.
The advantage of traveling with a guide is that you don’t have to shop for the food, you don’t have to cook, you don’t have to pack any camping gear (other than your own clothing!) plus you actually get to know the stories of the place you are paddling in!
Do you need to have experience with kayaking to embark on a multi-day kayak camping trip? No. None at all! That’s precisely why you go with a guide, as they will ensure your safety, help you to learn how to paddle, and show you how it’s done out there.
Sometimes people have all their own gear and love to cook, but want a local to come along with them! We can do that for you too, just ask! Or perhaps you have a specific place you would like to go. Again, just ask us, as we will do our best to customize a trip to meet your needs.
We require a minimum of 4 persons to run a multi-day tour. If you are less than 4 persons, please reach out and we can still book a tour for your (or have you join another trip with this same dates & similar demographics).
If we book a tour for a group of less than 4, we will actively try to find others to reach that minimum 4 person threshold.
If we are unable to find others to join for your exact dates 30 days in advance of your start date, the following will happen:
- you can choose to proceed as a small group tour and pay a premium rate that will be slightly less than the 4 person rate for that tour
- you can choose to cancel and your deposit will either be refunded (less a $25 admin fee) OR can be applied to other Terracentric day tour products
Please note that even if you are 4 persons, we reserve the right to add others to your tour in order to maximize our staff and equipment resources.
