Long a destination for summer sojourns and home for the people of the Tla’amin and Klahoose Nations, world-renowned Desolation Sound has captivated the hearts and minds of many a traveler. This tour offers stunning views of the coastal mountains towering over a myriad of islands, fascinating stories of First Nations and early European settlement and of course, wildlife - whatever Mother Nature decides to share on that particular day!
Once we depart Lund, we travel to the Sound with stops at former village sites and homesteads, and make our way into parts of the marine park, drifting to observe wildlife en route. On the full day tour, we widen our circle to explore a few more places, and a shore stop part way through to tour to stretch our legs and even swim! Our return includes the Copeland Islands Marine Park. If you only have a limited time in Lund and want to get out on the water, the half day tour is a must!
6 hour tours include the option of adding a lunch for $25+GST per person.
